About
Celebrating Margie Raaf:
A Dedicated Volunteer and Tutor
Margie Raaf has been a cherished member of the Project: LEARN family for over 13 years, offering her time, knowledge, and compassion to the Brunswick location of The BookShelf. Since the Brunswick location closed, Margie has brought her talents to the Wadsworth BookShelf, where she continues to be a vital part of our community.
A retired RN, Margie’s experience spans far beyond her career in healthcare. She is a dedicated tutor, guiding her student through the challenging process of becoming a certified personal trainer. While we’re unsure if he started as a GED student, Margie's commitment to helping others succeed remains unwavering.
Margie is known for her vast knowledge of books and authors, which she shares with everyone who steps into the bookstore. Her friendly and compassionate nature has made her beloved by all who work with her. And if you ever need to discuss cats, Margie is your go-to person—she is a HUGE cat lover!
We are incredibly grateful for Margie's 13 years of service to Project: LEARN and look forward to many more years of her guidance and dedication.
